Meet Carmen.
Carmen works primarily with college students, LGBTQ+ adults, women seeking empowerment, and individuals navigating life transitions such as starting or ending a relationship, beginning a new job or school, or adjusting to a new chapter of life. She is especially passionate about supporting people who feel “in between” versions of themselves and are seeking clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.

Carmen takes a client-centered, collaborative approach to counseling and believes that you are the expert on your own life. Her goal is to create a space that feels safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental — where you can show up exactly as you are. Carmen works alongside clients to explore what’s coming up for them, make sense of their experiences, and build insight and coping skills in a way that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with their values.

Carmen believes therapy should feel approachable and human, not intimidating or overly clinical. She enjoys creating a comfortable, relaxed environment and often incorporates things like snacks, coloring, or games into sessions when it feels helpful. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys crafting, hiking, and finding small ways to slow down and stay present — and brings that same grounded, authentic energy into her work with clients.
